So they're beginning talks between China and US on May 9 to May 12. The US economy is still probably fucked.
A lot of the damage is irreversible at this point. When financial institutions around the world start to see you as a risk, you are cooked
They should hold out a little longer..give them 4-5 months longer.
Also there's a good chance talks will fail. The US will probably make demands and refuse to actually negotiate
How the talks will go
US: "give us x! Do y! We demand z!"
China: "no."
US: "a very productive conversation, they want desperately to make a deal!'
