Just like I don't do smoking, I don't do any of the 3 companies either. Because I quickly realized they are bad, just like tobacco.

Same here and that's good for us personally but it's important to remember that a vast majority of people either don't have the willpower or are wholly unaware of how unhealthy social media is. That's why we need to regulate it just like we regulate tobacco.
