He founded the Giving Pledge in 2010 with Bill Gates, whereby billionaires pledge to give away at least half of their fortunes.
Kinda makes me wonder if Buffett’s saying this to protect his own personal investments which are being threatened by the tariffs, or if he has some idea in mind as to how to do US imperialism better.
Also very typical liberal double standards to say the US shouldn’t weaponize trade when he was fine with Afghanistan and Russia being sanctioned under Biden, or any other country slapped with pre-existing sanctions decades before Trump.
