Owl of the Millennium (Park)

Barred owl (Strix varia)

Very fortunate to spot this Barred Owl both Saturday and Sunday at Millennium. Going through eBird checklist for the weekend, I find I was not alone. Bird was perched closer to the trail than I typically approach an owl, so I kept my time observing as brief as possible.
