Would you actually notice anything? Like a bird sitting on a high-voltage power line, as long as it only touches one line it's ok.
- It would probably start getting uncomfortably warm pretty quickly, but I doubt you'd feel the current.
  
  I'd bet you'd feel as much current as licking a 9volt. The nose is a mucus membrane, so not very resistant to electricity
- It would get quite hot, but no you probably won't get shocked.
  
  I wonder, really. I've short circuited 9volts batteries before and from memory not much happened. I think a typical average 9v battery can give about .5 amps, so you'd get 4.5 watts, which won't heat up the metal piece very much.
  Since it's a closed circuit, I also don't think you'd feel much in the sense of electric shocks.
  I'm guessing the person sleeping wouldn't even notice it
