Bravo, it took you guys , what , 1 month before instead of creating a community for secularism, rights of atheists, support for new atheists etc etc you've turned it into another pile of anti-theistic jokes and nothing else of value.

Counterpoint: Being atheist in a very secular country (as I do) is nothing special or controversial. The vast majority of people like this have no need/interest in a forum like this because of this fact.
Online spaces like this in English are dominated by people who grew up in places where being atheist is counter to the local culture (the majority from the USA). Many are basically cultural refugees looking for a safe space to vent.
You demand the place be better, stop posting certain content and why no one is posting what you want to see.
My question: Why is this your first post here? What have you brought to the table?

Why not hold yourself to the standards you have set for others?
If you post that content, it will be engaged with positively here. Until that post comes, making fun of religion who is in some power in your area, or complaining about their antics keeps the sub alive.
A sub you describe could be good though. I just don't know what aethiest rights are other than complaining about antics of religious people and anger at/making fun of the religions in power spots. Except for the right to be athiest without threat, but kinda just part of anger at/making fun of religions in power.
I just like to make fun of religions, so there are mainly only memes from my side. If you are missing something, you are of course welcome to contribute to the community.
As a resident of the bible belt, subject to the whims of superstitious state legistators and crackpot christian lunatics, I have to find some escape. I am BY FAR in the minority where I live. Like, I know maybe 4 other people who are unapologetically atheist. The rest are on the spectrum from "I love Jesus' teachings, but I'm not like, ya know, like super religious" to full blown christian fanatical psychopath.
So yeah, I enjoy memes dunking on religion. If you want something else in this community, feel free to make a post. Probably leave off the condescending sarcasm for best results.
I think you make a good point. There's a atheistmemes community for the posts you're referring to.
I wish there was more of a discussion here about defending atheists' rights and freedoms and news articles on the subject.
