The attorney for the City of Coeur d'Alene confirmed to KTVB charges have been filed against six men for their alleged involvement in forcefully dragging a woman from a Kootenai County Republican town hall in February.

The incident occurred on Feb. 22 during a town hall at Coeur d’Alene High School. A viral video shared nationally shows Teresa Borrenpohl going back and forth with Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris before being removed by three men in plain clothes.

Notably absent from these filings is any charges against Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris. He was the first person to approach this woman (also, without identifying himself) and immediately ask "do you want me to pepper spray you?". He then put his hands on her and attempted to remove her himself. When that didn't work, he turned to the unmarked security and ordered them to remove her.
He should be indicted just like the rest of them; security was following his direction.

COEUR d’ALENE — A legislative town hall organized by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee devolved into chaos Saturday when unidentified, plainclothes security personnel dragged a Post Falls woman from the Coeur d’Alene High School auditorium for heckling legislators.
“Nobody was telling people cheering to stop cheering, but any time there was a negative reaction, we were scolded,” she said. “I felt comfortable expressing displeasure because people were very openly expressing their appreciation for the legislators there.”
