  • Love this tune/Dead Boys and sing it while making balsamic reduction at work

    Balsamic reducer

    Ain't no loser

      • (Full version, I make up lots of song parodies at work)

        I don't need anyone

I still need mom and dad

        Don't got a pretty face

        I lost the human race

And I've got some news for you

        You work a kitchen too!

I've got my pots and pans

        Working til I can't stand

        Balsamic reducer

        Ain't no loser

        People out kn the streets

They don't know who I am

I watch them eat my food

And they just pass me by

        But I'm not just anyone

I'll boil this sauce down to none!

        (Chorus)

        I'll have a drizzle soon

        For pizzas and salads too

        Things will be different then

        We'll be supplied again

Then I'll be 5 and a half feet tall

        Getting paid nothing at all

        • I didn't expect it to get dark but it's good. I like it :) Do you do recordings of them as well?

          • I don't but totally could for this one. I can play it on all necessary instruments. Some other tunes I've Weird Al'd could be hard. Balsamic reduction takes a long time albeit very little attention, you just simmer Balsamic vinegar until thicc, if the vinegar is low quality maybe add sugar but it stinks cause its vinegar cooking off. I wrote it in my head over the course of a 15 minutes or so while working and then delivered. No one had heard the original, including my chef who's old band I saw open for fucking DOA when I was 14

That’s sick! Recording, mixing and editing always seemed like a pain though.

I donβ€˜t mind the smell of vinegar tbh

              wow

              • I've gota good floor mic and enjoy mixing. I'm slowly working my way back to a decent home recording setup. Even have an electric drum kit now. I just need to get more cables and amps so I can have everything ready to roll without moving my living room around each time I wanna play something else
