Just had a brand new RDR2 encounter I have never seen despite playing through the first few acts several times.

Came across a drunk on a bench who said his house was foreclosed, asked me to retrieve some items as he is no longer allowed on the property. So I go there, find his gun his watch and his ledger. Ledger turns out to be a manifest of slaves. Return it to him, throw all his shit on his fire. Mission ends, guy is sobbing over his burned belongings, I shoot him in the head: +1 to honor lmao owned.

- That game was wild, I remember putting a bunch of hogtied Confederate remnant guys into shallow muddy water and watching them struggle to keep their heads up so they didn't drown.

one of my favorite games of all time, it sucks that Rockstar is such a terrible company to work for, because the incredibly talented people who made this work of art deserve way better

That rules. Wonder if you're still rewarded if you kill him without finding evidence he was a slave owner.

That's in the game from the start. I think the first time I played I was still a bit of a lib and went "I'll leave him to die a sad broken man" the second time I let my sawn-off bark.
- I meant brand new to me but yeah I thought about it for like half a second and then put a .45 in the back of his head.
  
  I said that because they did add some minor side quests that were almost finished at some point I think.

Should I play red dead 1 first? Really want to just dive into this game
- That depends, technically it is a prequel so you could either play them in chronological order or not either way you won't be wrong, but some of the foreshadowing might be less impactful if you don't know what happens in rdr1
