I'm good with that. We need some media to not be owned by the Billies.

I’m not sure if government funded news from a government owned by corporations is a great idea.
- Better than getting it directly from the corporations. We have more leverage over government. And we can vote in a different government, especially if we keep up the pressure for electoral reform.
- as compared to getting it directly from those corporations? like what is the superior alternative that you're more sure about??
  
  Most people get their news from alternative sources anyway.
- Do the conservatives hate it? Yes? Then it's a good thing.
  
  The liberals and conservatives in Canada might as well be the same party at this point for me. I hate them both so much.
- The alternative is media owned by foreign (American) billionaires.
  I much prefer the one our taxes pay for thank you very much.
  
  We’ve been through this before and it pushed our country into alternative foreign owned and backed media shit. The Rebel Media and such got a huge surge in traffic after Trudeau promised funding to the CBC. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills at this point, does nobody else remember this shit?
