I didn't realize this was such a big problem with Vizio devices. Isn't that Best Buy's brand name?
Edit: I was thinking of Insignia, not Vizio. Still, based on everything I'm reading here, I'm going to steer well clear of Vizio!
Was the general low-end brand, but now they are owned by Walmart.
My dad bought a Vizio tv a few months ago. He called me to help him because you can't even use the thing as a basic tv without first creating a Vizio account. He doesn't own a computer and is mostly tech illiterate so I had to create the account for him and play tech support over the phone until he got in. I'd have taken it back to where I got it. I know not to buy Vizio TVs in the future though.
