It's Friday 03/28/2025. Hey, What's Going On!

I have a meeting that I have to show up to in person today. I don't want to but I have to. And the title was almost the date only. Almost forgot the Hey what's going on part.

This is a daily post for “casual” conversation. If you want to post or talk about something non autism related this is where to do it. For example if you want to info dump about your special interest but it doesn’t fall into “autism related” then you can post it here in the comments. Another day steeping in the rancid boil of evergrowing fascism while also being unable to explain to all the people in my life who helped bring this all about just how bad it's going to get, while simultaneously watching my online circles shrink due to mod abuse (not here) and legitimately deceitful actors
Add a side of job insecurity coupled with the current economy and my industry's exceptional downturn and basically I am self-medicating and mass distracting just so I can get through another shift of work to pay for another month just to earn the right to pay for another month
I want to lie down forever and shout in the streets and just disappear and just burn everything down and it's all so exhausting and no one really cares or engages anymore
Is any of this even worth saving? And as bad as it is now, how much worse will it get?
I can't pretend the world isn't burning and I am out of my mind over why almost no one else feels the same
