I didn’t do anything mean to anyone, but, like the idiot I am, I liked one of my main account comments with my alt accounts which got me a three day suspension on my main for vote manipulation (fairs) but then like a fuckin removed I used one of those alts in the meantime which then got me a permanent ban for violating their suspension policy. Damn

  Though I do think permanent is bit harsh, considering it literally IP bans me from ever interacting with Reddit again. It was two alts :(

I got a permanent ban for report abuse for reporting a politicalcompass meme that was only toeing the line on hatespeech

I did like 5 other reports in the past that all got the post removed

talking about alien bussy got me suspended for a week in reddit I was joking about the aliens that's all
Same thing happened to an account of mine, but it was r/conservative and it was blatant hate speech
u/Bardfinn always claimed admins will accept appeals for such bans which are clearly moderator abuse, but they rejected my appeal.

I appealed and it was reinstated but just proves the point of how bad the bot situation is there that a user reporting bots would get banned by an automated system.

Oh definitely. The bots there are a major problem, and reddit has absolutely no plans of anything anything about them. Probably one of the big reasons why discussions on lemmy/kbin feel different.

They nuke 6 of my accounts the other day all at once then IP banned me. Some of these accounts had only posted one or two posts or were very specialized like Fallou76. No reason other than breaking term and ban evasion...
