For reference: 200.000 is the target size of the German army. The Netherlands have a population of 18.000.000, so the standing army is supposed become 1.1% of the population.
The dutch target size corresponds to about the same size as the Russian army relative to its population size. (1.5 Million active for 146 Million population)

Okay so that would make it 4 people. Great going.
They’ll have to yell „Peng! Peng!” instead of actually firing their guns to save on munition, though.
I've always thought, this was a German thing.
