I know I'm a little late, but my wife spotted a GM-2100 from out of the entire collection at a jewelers. and she Hates Casio..I wanted a mud master with the compass but what's a watch if not to also be admired, after having a DBC-611G for a few years it was time to become an adult

Glow lite dials, semi-fluid minute hand, nice scratch resistant glass...No complaints yet. also No compliments...my data bank always got noticed....after all why not buy a gaudy Invicta? (lol)
Why does your wife hate Casios?
she thinks they are gaudy. the G shock series especially. (like most invicta watches) She doesn't mind the diver or data banks. But i like Flashy+Functional. So the Databanks, MudMasters and Double/Triple Sensors are all what I'm about. I want to get their "smart" watch version of the g shock but they are a cool 400+$USD. what i like about them is that the face of the watch is still g shock and all the smart app bs is on the app, giving you the best of both worlds. a real watch with smart features.
My belief is that form equals function. Even when a watch is pretty, think about what you use it for.
