What are some general subs to take part in?
I see people always saying that we need more content and I would like to contribute. What are some subs you'd like to see more active?
Personally I’d like to see more content over at !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works . Full disclosure, I’m a mod there, but I do think it’s the best gaming community here

General subs are the most active I would like to see more content in !hiphopheads@sopuli.xyz and !lastfm. Hiphopheads has 1300 subscribers but only 5 regularly post contents. 4 of them are mods of the sub. It's not difficult to contribute to it. Just share links to which song/album you listen to

It could be basically any dead/slow community. Pick anything which you're interested in.
I actually don't know a lot of subs. I know !downvotedtooblivion@lemm.ee was a sub that was made during a time when Lemmy downvotes were crazy, and this was often cited, but things aren't like they were a month ago for the most part. Still possible to appreciate anything though.
