It really was! I was standing super close to get these shots, maybe 10 feet away. But since I just sort of pointed my phone and desperately clicked while pretending I wasn’t looking, it didn’t freak out or fly off.
I’m sure I looked like a lunatic to everyone else who was ignoring them, but totally worth it.
I wish he would fly on my arm and eat a peanut from me!
