Chuck Schumer says he will vote to advance GOP funding bill amid Democratic divisions over shutdown strategy

It's like he wakes up in the morning and asks himself "How can I be as weak as possible?" Them going back on what they said yesterday about stopping the bill until Republicans negotiate makes them look even weaker than if they'd just let it through straight away.

Pathetic. Weak. Spineless. Complicit.

So they are complicit. That explains why they do nothing.

If the government shuts down there will literally be no one to slow trump down. They'll be at home.

At least with the government funded the employees have a chance to slow something down. Think it can't get worse? Send the employees (government workers) home and watch.
