Well lucky for me, I stopped shopping at those stores a couple months ago!

We must keep our profit margin so we have chosen to put the burden on you lest our billionaires make a few dollars less.

The article doesn't explicitly say they were giggling when they said it, but I'm just going to assume they were.

“Just a fair warning, we’re going to screw you over soon.”

They still haven't backed down from the pandemic price hike.
Fortunately the Costco near me has actually been dropping prices, which is nice.

I'm Australian and a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk is 10 dollars now.

Tariffs are a bitch and any corporation will take any chance they can to squeeze more out of you.
- 25% tariffs? 35% price hike, because reasons.
