Just saw the trailer, I like the tone, hope it’s good.
I’m still mad at snow piercer… why the fuck do they need to be constantly moving? That’s the worse thing for heat insulation!
Snow Piercer is not about a train. It's about capitalism, communism, revolutions and anarchism. The train is the capitalist world and the final message is anarchist.
Yeah, complaining about the science of Snowpiercer is kind of like complaining that the animals in Animal Farm talk
It depends on which Snowpiercer you're watching. The movie is about the revolution. The series is about lazy people fucking up the working system.

Okay sure but can’t you have all of that without the train?
Imo a bunker would be a much better metaphor, especially since Ed Harris’ character believed their world was eternal (it was hard to believe it was running for that long).
I like the director and his critique on capitalism but imo he did it wrong. Especially give that the ending…
But you can't "derail" a bunker. And the point of the ending was that neither capitalism not communism are the answer.
It's not exactly hard scifi
