I Go Because of Food
I Go Because of Food
Sometimes I write about serious things. This is not one of those times.
I did not want to go into work on Monday.
I did not want to go into work on Tuesday.
Today is Wednesday. I did not want to go into work today, either.
But I went in, each day, bright and early because of the food. My office has free breakfast, and it's quite good. I'm a simple man, I like food.
I remember listening to an ex-CIA agent talk about the four ways to convince people to do things; ideology, compensation, ego, and coercion. Coercion is the least predictable. So when I see companies force their employees to RTO or be fired, I shake my head.
Just offer us more food.
