Elden Ring Nightreign uses 3rd Party DRM

For those who keep up with which games coming up will ship with DRM, it's come to light that the new Elden Ring title will use GuardIT

I've never heard of GuardIT anticheat before, no idea if it's linux compatible or not.

Guess I'll be waiting for when it gets cheaper / goes on sale.
- The high seas are calling for those who are patient
  
  Probably not a great option considering how Nightreign is built around online multiplayer more than any other Fromsoft game. I guess there's maybe a chance for a selfhosted multiplayer server, but otherwise the likelihood of a pirated version actually working seems slim.

Too bad. I might have bought it.
