This week I decided to add budgets to the movies (except The Blind which I could not find info for, at this time). Let me know what you think :)
37 0 ReplyThis is great, are you hand crafting it or do you scrape the data and build the image?
15 0 ReplyI would like to tell you I have put in some work to make this mostly automated, but sadly I have not yet. I'll probably end up there, soon enough, when I put in the time. For now I'm just manually entering the data.

The movie budget is a great addition! It helps paint a clear image of the gap between the ideas of the movie maker and public reception.
14 0 ReplyThanks it help in the conversation. I mean I know Barbie has legs (pun intended) but when you see the W.W. compared to production costs, woo. We should expect a heap of new productions ripping off the ideas soon.

Thank you for this, interesting to see how bad Expendables 4 is doing
32 0 ReplyI didn't even know they made another one until this post.
36 0 ReplyWorst rating of them all. Stallone doesn't know when to quit...

Man there are some MASSIVE bombs
24 0 ReplyIt's so crazy that Barbie is still on the list generating revenue, and available in theaters. Good for the Barbie people.
18 0 Reply@robocall @ClarkZuckerberg I wonder if it's partially being bolstered by how expensive it is to rent on VOD still?
2 0 ReplyIt stays expensive to rent while it remains in theaters. Once it's out of theaters, the price drops.

I really like the numbers you have in this. Gives a much better idea of how these are actually doing.
Especially comparing how everything is doing better than Wonder Women did. Odd choice, but hey it works!
14 0 ReplyI'm kind of surprised at Saw X tbh. I've seen a lot more excitement for it in my online circles than any of the previous installments.
11 0 ReplyI guess I'm finally in a place where advertising can't get to me because I didn't even know it was a thing until just now. It's the kind of thing I'd go watch in theaters if I had time.
8 0 ReplyI had no idea either but it's crazy that they're still going. They're picking back up the main storyline? Who is even left to continue it?

I need to watch Paw Patrol, I feel like my niece is probably gonna grill me on it next time I see her.
11 1 ReplyJust saw it, I only almost fell asleep so that means it was good
9 0 ReplyPaw Patrol is on a roll!

Paw Patrol is neoliberal propaganda, painting government as incompetent and advocating for a privatized police force. Watch out!

The Creator is a fun watch if not just for really good visual effects and some decently good sci-fi ideas. Sad to see it not doing so hot.
9 0 ReplyThe meme stock movie is bombing, it appears. Not unlike a meme stock in the long term.
