Self host on a raspberry pi?
Hello,
I would like to self host either on my machine, or on a raspberry pi. I don't absolutely need to access it from outside my network, but it would be a plus. I have read this page: https://docs.piped.video/docs/self-hosting/ , but I'm a bit lost on how to set up hostnames. Maybe I can use something like DuckDNS: https://www.duckdns.org/
Check out tailscale for remote access away from the house. Tons of things you can host yourself on a Pi. Raspbian OS works fine as does Ubuntu and other OS’s of you have the inclination. Make sure you enable SSH login and you can access it from your phone or laptop. Tailscale lets you access it from anywhere.
hostnames = your domain URL I have static IP so I just run own reverse proxy and point domains for api proxy and front to docker conatiner.
