Canada becoming the 51st state is allowing a foreign administration to find whatever excuse they can find to display the natives and magically provide "real-state opportunities" out of nothing, Israeli style.

FWIW the United States are not bound by Protocol I or II of the Geneva conventions, meaning we're also not protected by them.
Which things does that cover? Do we get to pull the shotguns and triangular bayonets out of storage?
