Justice Department asks court to dismiss corruption charges against New York Mayor Adams
Prosecutors contend the case was marred by appearances of impropriety and that letting it continue would interfere with the mayor’s reelection bid.
Thus adding more corruption.
As per the New York City charter, New York State Governor Hochul can remove the Mayor of New York City at any time she chooses. God only knows after he accepted the corrupt Quid Pro Quo with the DOJ why she hasn't yet. Last asked she said : "I have to think about it". As Democrats and Americans we're still nowhere. We haven't even gotten up off the mat yet, while it all continue to burn.

He agreed to do a bunch of shady shit for the fascist regime in exchange for evading justice. The regime made that clear but obviously didn't specify exactly what shady shit.
And they're trying to dismiss the charges without prejudice so they can charge him again if he doesn't do what they want.
It's unfair to investigate the crimes of someone that's trying to commit more crime.

DOJ is trying to dismiss the charges without prejudice so they can have leverage over Adams. I think the funniest option would be for the judge to dismiss with prejudice, removing their leverage and clearing the way for the state to bring charges against Adams without worrying about interfering with the feds.

NYC is "Democrat," but they're historically liberal rather than progressive. Which is why they ended up with mayors like Bloomberg, and this clown...
