What's the word for the aural version of visualising?

Like, when you can hear something in your mind? Is there a word for this?

- Thank you! I wonder why the word isn't commonly used?
- Reading more about audiation I'm not sure it's the right word. It seems to be specifically about music, whereas I'm thinking more broadly. e.g. A word that conveys the same meaning as "imagine" or "picture" or "visualise".
  
  I did think you meant music specifically because 'imagine' does already encompass what you are describing.
