I think Microsoft support webpages do this to the back button. I can't get back to my search page results by clicking the back button after clicking a link to a Microsoft support webpage. It always redirects me back. I either have to hold the back button down and select the search page from the drop down or double click the back button.
Pretty much every microsoft site does a massive number of redirects to get to the actual page, it's ridiculous.
@MangoPenguin @sheridan
Is you ever have the misfortune to use any of Microsoft's Web development stuff you will find that this is how they build websites, it's really horrible 🤮
Why do they do that?
After getting stuck in some seriously stupid redirect loops when using Outlook, I assume Microsoft is just horribly incompetent
That's what I thought
That is exactly why I almost always open search results in a new tab.
