A Starfield anime series, detailing The Settled Systems, mechs, Akila City, and more in Bethesda’s follow up to Fallout and Skyrim, has suddenly arrived.
To call this an anime is just plain wrong. This is a series of animated shorts, completely unvoiced to boot. I'd have saved some time flipping through storyboard pictures. But still, it's always nice to see games branch out in these ways. Just wish people would call things what they are cause I had completely different expectations going in.
Right? I mean, I don't discredit Bethesda too much on the production quality, they're cute animated shorts it's just I wish the media wouldn't try to spin it a certain way to get clicks.
They (Bethesda) have a track record of making great games, even counting all the buggy, glitchy, janky bullshit that comes with them. I'm not expecting a total failure or a smooth launch based on literally every game they've put out since I discovered them with Morrowind. A good game, with the same jank and maybe even new jank is what I'm expecting.
I feel like the game is largely an unknown at this point. We saw some gameplay but I feel like I would want to wait for reviews. Bethesda has a strong track record though so I'm hoping it should be good.
