As I'm having to decide sometimes on whether something is on-topic or not, and we can always make mistakes, I've opened a matrix channel for YPTB for meta discussions.

Holy crap I just took a look at the modlog: you really do so much work for us here to have a nice environment to discuss matters in, calmly and rationally.
If you are feeling like too much effort is having to go into that, I would support whatever you need to do to retain your sanity.
Though personally I'd rather have the discussions here, and yet I'm not the one having to clean up those toilets/dumpster fires.:-) So yeah, I also feel like that preference is too short-sighted, except as a very minor statement of preference whenever there is some doubt about a post.
