I say this because that person first orders the other to touch some grass, but then immediately teases them for not using a registered Wikipedia account, which kinda sounds like something that only a person who hasn't touched grass in a long time would do...
"Popularized" specifically removes the provenance.
Look there's a whole entertainment complex of entertaining Gen Z with culture that's older than them, repackaging the same jokes into short form because they don't have access to the same TV and movies. But don't let them just own these words like they are brand new.
