i mean this is probably true to some small degree but if I went back in time I would just be kind of above average... and probably very tall depending on how far back you go

I'd also have no interest in dressing to conform, though, which in some cultures did a lot to cover up the physical differences that made one person more or less physically desirable than another.
Depicting yourself as anyone other than a person of your exact sex in your exact station was punishable by anything from a hefty fine to death, depending on the place and era, so even without the personality, I wouldn't be tall for very long.
