Russia gives them citizenship and the EU will still recognize old Ukrainian citizenship. it's like a win win. Whats the benefit to keep fighting, just strange.

well no shit. the problem is russias’s “peace plan” is “Ukraine no longer exists”
Russia's "Peace Plan" is to actually take over Ukraine, and then the Baltics, and then Poland, and then Germany and the rest of the Central Europe, and then France and the UK, and rest of Western Europe, and then they'll take over the Atlantic Ocean and Iceland and Greenland, and then they'll come and take over the United States, state by state starting from the East Coast going to the West Coast, and then Hawaii, and then Japan, and then they'll autocoup themselves oblast by oblast starting with Vladivostok where they'll be dug in for months trying to make roads that connect to the rest of Russia but then they'll keep marching West and when they finally loop all the way back around to Lviv the whole West will be defeated and we'll all be speaking Russian and saying Hail Putler and the brave Galician racists will be rolling in their graves saying I told you so.
And that's why at least 4 generations of Ukrainian men need to be eradicated for American interests in Eastern Europe.

What evidence do we have of that? A peace deal was already talked through, but fell through. It did not have any such provisions in it.
No, Russias peace plan is the separatist nations get to exist, and Ukraine doesn't get NATO bases so they can't build up a second attack any time soon.

No it isn't. Eastern Ukraine and neutrality is still very far from the end of Ukraine and is still very reasonable deal to make for peace.
Zelensky's peace plan is still Russia to retreat from everywhere, including crimea, and then Ukraine can have "peace talks" about Russian reparations to Ukraine. This is not just unreasonable, it's delusional. This kind of unbending attitude from the side that everybody knows is losing is no fucking bravery. It's stupidity that prolongs a lost war for only Ukraine's and Ukrainian people's loss. All because Kiev and Zelensky are politically and narrative wise boxed themselves in for a war to the bitter end.
“unreasonable” is a choice of words… russia invaded a sovereign state; that was their choice… i’d say it’s very reasonable for russia to fuck right off and fix the damages, which is to say nothing of the lives ukraine lost because of that choice - anything less is unreasonable
whether that’s realistic or not is another question, but fair and reasonable are not realistic because the world is not fair, especially when it comes to the bullshit bullying that happens with all major military powers
