37C in Sydney today and 30C+ over the last weekend. Fun.
- Yep tis fucketh, but should be cool this weekend which is good cause I got a 10k fun run I need to slay

- High temps, bullshit cost of living with no end in sight, government that's not interested in actual solutions that's still miles better than the alternative... The usual.

- We're not even 3 weeks in to Spring yet and we're already seeing highs in the mid-30s.

  Me, an American, just woke up, looks at your post.... so confused for a minute. "30 degrees Fahrenheit is freezing" reaction.
The only time I've knowingly been in 40+ heat was in Sydney. The house I was staying in had no fans and was stifling, so I opened the front door, thinking to let a breeze blow though. It was like opening an oven door, a gust of hot air in my face. The whole week was unbearable - blistering hot outside, far too cold in places with aircon.
The fire season is going to be fucked this year.
Me, clocking out of summer in the northern hemisphere: "Good luck, bud. Glad to be the fuck out of there"
