Prada and Axiom Space unveil spacesuit designs for NASA’s Artemis III moon mission
Luxury fashion house Prada and commercial space company Axiom Space have unveiled the designs for a spacesuit that will be worn on the moon as early as 2026.
Reminds me of whose line is it anyway games where one person would put their hands behind their back and another person would use their hands to act out the scene. These suits have the arms and shoulders positioned similarly. They look really uncomfortable.
They're positioned so the astronaut can pull their arms back into the main body of the suit.
What, no Playtex anymore?
I guess Prada makes sense. Like many government contractors, they way overcharge for something that cost them a lot less, based on the work of others.
They just usually do it for rich private payers.
