Wolff: Massa case may set 'precedent' for 2021
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff is interested in Felipe Massa's attempt to have the 2008 F1 title overturned, believing it may set a precedent that could also change the 2021 result.
Excerpt:
"Asked if the 2021 result could also be reopened if Massa is in any way successful with his legal challenge, Wolff said: "And the FIA commented on the 2021 race with a clear statement.
"So that's why we're looking at it with interest.""
Except the small thing that this is actual foul play by a team that was kept secret by the FIA.
2021 was an a strange call by the FIA. But there was no coverup, and it was already protested by Merc and ruled as being correct.
There is just no comparison between the two, whatever you may think of 2021.
This is all nonsense - the Massa case, the Marko comments, the Wikipedia thing: Wolff is just trying to mess with and distract Red Bull
Massa is getting fleeced by his legal team, there is no way this is going anywhere. Mosley is dead and Bernie isn't going to bat for Massa on this.

Bernie came out in an interview and said that they chose to cover up for Renault and that he regrets his decision.
That interview is what spurred Massa taking action.
I guess they'll settle for an undisclosed sum. Formula 1 doesn't want to open the can of worms that is second guessing the decisions of the stewards.
This has nothing to do with the stewards.
Allegations and evidence of Piquet being asked to deliberately crash were raised. Almost immediately afterwards. The FIA made the choice not to follow up with an investigation until after the prize giving ceremony, when the results were locked in place.
That's why Massa is taking action now. This only came out publicly this year.
