Why don't the werewolves simply outcompete the evil corporation in the free market?

Context: Werewolf: the Apocalypse is a ttrpg set in the modern day, where everyone plays as a werewolf (garou) who are organized in tribal communities, closely connected to nature and spiritualism. Most of them live in the wild, hunting for food, and those that endure the corruption of the cities are generally outcasts that live on the fringes of society.

One major enemy they face is an evil corporation called Pentex. Pentex isn't a household name, but it's a massive parent company that controls huge sections of the economy, and is behind all the most egregious and heinous shit that happens under capitalism. It also embodies a spiritual force called "The Wurm" which represents the corrupt, destructive elements of humanity brought on by civilization and separation from nature. In W:tA, you probably can never hope to defeat Pentex or the Wurm, the best you can typically hope for is to subvert their latest scheme, protect your people and your home, and live to fight another day.

Enter big brained redditor, completely missing the point. The Ventrue he talks about are a type of vampire from the related game line that are especially power hungry and aristocratic, who, you might correctly assume, are also hated enemies of werewolves who will often kill them on sight.
