ChatGPT for Android launches next week

But Bing’s AI app can bring GPT-4 to Android right now.

I'm surprised it took this long to have an official ChatGPT app.

Yeah, I am surprised as well. That much said I'll take a hard pass on this one.
- I'm genuinely curious...why are you passing? I've used it web chatgpt a few times and it seems to have good use for summarizing answers to questions for me. Is it security concerns for the app or overall decline in performance?
  
  That's a fair question to ask. For me it comes down to principles. I reject 99% of software and technology that is not free and open source. I make some begrudging allowances for favorite games of mine. I don't trust corporations to be responsible with this tool. It's purely a principles and ethics thing for me. I also believe that there are things AI should never be entrusted to do.
Great, now it will be even easier to post endlessly about it.
