A sequel to Alien Isolation is in "early development"

I'm surprised to hear this since from what I recall the publisher forced Creative Assembly to continue the series in some sort of mobile slop format instead which then predictably fizzled out

Gah I wish I had a new PC to play it. Played the original right when it came out since my laptop was made around the same time so I could run it. BEST movie video game I ever played. Even if I did get a little pissed off at the end with the xeno's ai owning me over and over.
I got the original for free on EGS and still haven't played it lol. Maybe I'll try it on the steam deck some time. I hear it's basically just way too long which decreases my enthusiasm to play it.
- It's really good but yeah the final act kind of drags on
Really excited for this. One of the first games I can think of that might actually benefit from being on newer gens. The game already had great AI, and art direction. I could imagine them managing to do something good with the extra horsepower
