So what humans have done for millenia in the form of furs, leather and bone?
43 1 ReplyYeah but these guys have exoskeletons so they are cooler. Sorry, I don't make the rules
28 0 ReplyHunting giant insects back in the day would be terrifying, but exoskeleton armor would be bad ass.

Yes but they are insects so it's pretty cool
Just imagine if I told you that the cookbug cooks it's prey by throwing it into fire. You would find it cool despite also doing it.
21 1 ReplyIt's still pretty rare though.
5 0 ReplyBone maybe, but leather and first have practical reasons related to temperature. Any camo benefits are incidental.

So they’re the Reavers of the insect world.
34 0 ReplyBut I thought they were just a legend…
9 0 Reply6 0 ReplyQ: How does a reaver clean his blade?
A:
Tap for spoiler
He runs it through the Wash.

Great camouflage. Carrying a sack of dozens dead ants on your back does not draw attention at all.
14 0 ReplyCamouflage through intimidation. If you saw a dude sneaking around covered in human skulls, no you didn't.
25 0 ReplyI didn’t indeed. You got a point there.
9 0 ReplyLike that guy who walked in on Batman and was just like.....nope.

I guess spiders don't want to eat a pile of dead ants, even if it's moving. Not the sharpest tools in the shed, spiders.
5 0 ReplyAnts "see" mostly by smells. This would probably smell like another ant and thus wouldn't be bothered.

We already had an Ocean Soulslike (Another Crab's Treasure). Now we need a Bug Soulslike.
12 0 ReplyIsn't that Hollow Knight?
13 0 ReplyToo easy, frankly, and the awesome ways you can modify yourself don't match with Dark Souls. Actually having significant, meaningful differences in your combat isn't Dark Souls.

Hollow Knight?
5 0 ReplyI mean... Yeah? But I was referring to a Full Soulslike game in 3D, and I see Hollow knight more like a Metroidvania with some Soulslike features.

Litter bugs (green lacewing larvae) do this as well. Great bug to have in your garden as they feed on aphids, scale, mealy bugs - pretty much all the pests you don't want on your plants.
Also they are metal af.
11 0 ReplyThat must be terrifying to see at it's scale. Wtf.
12 1 ReplySame.
