John Amos, 'Good Times' Dad and 'Roots' Actor, Dies at 84

John Amos, the star of 'Good Times,' 'Roots' and 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' died on Aug. 21 in Los Angeles of natural causes. He was 84.
