I think I understand what Israel was going for - I think they were mainly trying to scare the shit out of Hezbollah and cause chaos by making their main routes of communication compromised; and you know what, I think that's reasonable. However, like usual, they apparently decided that civilian casualties don't matter; which is where I draw the line.
