I think in a lot of cases, people getting unreasonable amounts of shit for being the former leads to them becoming the latter.
No actually there’s not really a huge difference, it’s just the 2014 epic version of disliking sports which you have a distaste for, nonetheless their point is correct and sports culture needs a machete taken to it and it needs to be removed from schools and public funding. Sports are not the same as other hobbies, they do massive amounts of harm and have a dominant hegemony which makes it uniquely in need of checking
