I heard a great multi-part series on NPR focusing on interviews right before his death. If I wasn't lazy or thought you'd actually be interested, I'd find em and link em. Here we are though.
Behind the Bastards has a 6-part show all about Kissinger. Dave and Gareth from The Dollop are guests, it was pretty enlightening to someone who grew up never really learning anything about Kissinger except that he was a behind the scene policy guy for decades.
If it peels off never-Trump Haley voting Republicans from not voting to voting Harris when they see all these old-guard Republicans endorsing Harris... Then I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend after all.
Maybe I'm just that nagging pessimist everyone hates, but the more these complete-fucking-sociopaths publicly endorse Harris, the more I worry that the democratic platform will hold on to those voters and cling to the chauvinist policies they come with.
Sure, it's fun to watch Trump get ejected from his party like a parasite from a rectum, but this feels like one of those 'live long enough to see yourself become the villan' moments that I hope I'm wrong about.
Ok and who ran the Whitehouse in the bush years? I'm just saying this man is going to vote for who he can control. Never forget he unloaded buckshot into another man's face and that man and their family apologized to him for the mental trauma they caused him. I'm just saying
Harris: Predictable, business friendly, heavily embedded in DC/LA machine politics, generally willing to horse trade with anyone at the right price
Trump: Loose cannon, dead beat, burned in both party establishments, constantly looking to screw you over for the slightest of personal advantages
Damn, can't believe Harris is the preferable option.
Never forget he unloaded buckshot into another man’s face and that man and their family apologized to him for the mental trauma they caused him.
Possibly the funniest moment of the Cheney presidency. Shame he couldn't have done that to more people in his inner circle. Filling Paul Wolfowitz's face with bird shot would have made all subsequent CNN interviews better.
