Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov has lashed out at French authorities, judging his recent arrest over an alleged lack of moderation on the messaging app as "misguided" and "surprising".
Haven’t followed this too closely but it feels like a sticky situation doesn’t it. It’s really a question of if a software is responsible for its users or not, unless I’ve missed something.
Yes, the french criminal state is very misguided. It thinks it has a right to read our encrypted conmunications. Hopefully we can trick either Russia or France into thinking it's being attacked and they play a few hundred rounds of global thermonuclear war until the French state (and the other hole of excrement) doesn't exist enough to try and pry open our end to end encryption ever again.
