One of these days I really gotta figure out the difference between these guys and 'regular' possums.
Always happy to see these ones in my neighbourhood.
The Opossum is the North American animal Didelphis virginiana
In North America sometimes the Opossum will be called a Possum.
The Possum however doesn’t live in North America and is bushy tailed.
Ah, I see. Then I've never seen a proper possum then. Everything out here is just opossums. Nice. Thanks.

I have to disagree there. I have never either in life, or any form of media (that isn't written) heard anyone pronounce the first "o" in opossum.
