Four-Poster Maple Bed Frame

My first time building any sort of furniture. I'm a journeyman redseal carpenter in Canada and spent my career building houses for 15 years and recently started a new job where I have access to a shop and some better tools.

Looks good!

But if you want to use the posts for play, you'll likely want to connect them with rails at the top
- I do plan on doing a top rail so we can hang things off as decoration. It's extremely solid though as is.
  
  It definitely looks like it's solid enough for a bed, but it doesn't look like it's solid enough to hang a sling from or tie up a fella to.

That glue up seems a bit excessive.
- You mean all those clamps? Nah that looks about right to me. The thinner/narrower the boards are, the closer together the clamps need to be.
  
  They don't look particularly thin.
- Better too many clamps than too few. Use 'em if you've got 'em.
