Very interesting! It could definitely use some links for definitions of various ingredients (and maybe terms). Local names for different things vary wildly, and especially without pictures on most things, there's no way to know which variant they mean.
For example: "1 1/2 cup Regular Rice" - American cups, British cups or Australian cups? What variety of rice is "regular" for this recipe/author? One half cup or one plus a half cups? Sometimes you can figure this stuff out from the bloat in the recipe links, but because this is so concise, I have no way to figure it out.
Amazing, and with pictures even for some! Seems to be a fair amount of ethnic dishes. This may be controversial but the only thing missing is an option for feedback. Sometimes a recipe attempter on the bloat sites will find something off (too much salt) and offer their thoughts. I do like checking comments out before trying something as a recipe failure has a little more financial cost nowadays.
Definitely bookmarking though and seeing how I can support.
Wow it's so refreshing. I opened a recipe and went to scroll down.. The page just... ENDED. There was maybe 1.5 pages of information for the recipe, versus scrolling for 100 years while a galaxy of ads play on most recipe sites these days.
Not having the content constantly shift around due to ads popping in and out, with massive white spaces appearing, videos auto playing, doctors tips on reducing belly fat , a huge story about how their grandmother once had an affair with a man who's cousin loved this recipe, and constant pop ups asking you to subscribe is such a breath of fresh air.
I just hope the site owner can afford to keep it up and running if it grows in popularity.
I just visited a website with one of my favorite recipes. The web page used to have the recipe and instructions at the top, followed by tons of comments confirming it was great and suggestions for customizing it (lots of great ideas in the comments). Today the website is pretty bloated. But at least it doesn't read like it was written by AI and all of the info is helpful.
Took a peek and it's not bad. I like the in-process pics. Sometimes it's helpful to know what it's supposed to look like as you go along. Craving banana bread now, thanks.
