Has there been a case of someone getting outed as a fed on the alt-media left other than the Mossad lady at MintPress revealing herself, in the past few years? Is it just all deniable now?
You'll never have definitive proof because the vast majority of people in media doing fed work are assets and mostly unwitting assets. They're not actual case officers, meaning they'll always be plausible deniability. For stuff like Breadtube, all the feds have to do is create thousands of fake Patreon accounts and funnel money to the channels they want to platform. The only Breadtube channel that's actually close to a witting asset instead of an oblivious useful idiot is that Southern anarchist larper (I forgot the dude's name) who got busted trafficking Ukrainian (?) women. It's pretty obvious he's taking marching orders from some handler. But for almost everyone else, it's just useful idiots getting platformed by the feds through (not so) clandestine means.
Beau of the Fifth Column really gets my blood boiling.
The idea that a slaver's fan base can forgive him without the input of all his slaves and then he should live comfortably as a "content creator" after that is abhorrent.
Brace Belden fought with the Kurds and they called in US airstrikes. Don’t think he’s a fed proper though nor was he “outed.” All in all, he seems to be pretty useless if he is a fed. Don’t think any handler wants to pay an asset to make comedy podcasts and attend random political events
Juan Cole was the biggest cheerleader of the Libyan opposition during the Libyan crisis that led to the assassination of Qaddafi, he was all over left media, especially Democracy Now! He sounded ecstatic when Qaddafi was lynched. I even remember reading one of his articles where he claims the US military is too moral to target civilians...ugh anyways....
Dunno why but I posted a response to a totally different question - awell
Edit to on topic: Nope, haven't heard of any online leftists being proven to be feds. That seems more an IRL group thing, or at least it's incredibly difficult not to infer based on some of the body counts.
I started listening to Colonial Outcasts, which feels like a looser version of Eyes Left (incidentially a host of each pod was an army ranger, whatever happened to Spencer Rapaone?). That said an infrequent host (or recurring guest?) Elina Xenophontos follows Jackson Hinkle, so that's a bit 👁️ to me
are left wing alt blogs even worth investing the time from the perspective of the feds? as far as i can tell it's mostly windowlickers and roderick day.
