Voter suppression, the electoral college, America's failure to make Election Day a paid day off, extremely frail voting infrastructure, legalized and (barely) regulated corruption (lobbying) and more all worked together to get Trump one single win, but the second time around, even despite all of these things working as advantages to republicans, Trump still lost to a different geriatric rapist imperialist because on top of having wildly lowered popular appeal, he also proved to be harmful to America's status quo.
